Your hosts at Riverglade Bed & Breakfast are Wallace McNair and Anne Thomson. Wallace and Anne have a special interest in vintage cars and operate a Vintage Car Restoration Workshop on the property.

Their love of old cars has taken them on some spectacular international adventures like Anne driving her restored 1906 Grand Prix Darracq (Malcom Campbell's original Bluebird racing car) in France at the centenary of the first Grand Prix and their overland trip from Peking to Paris driving their 1930 Delage. A short ride in one of the old cars may be possible, please feel free to ask. Wallace and Anne are both New Zealand born, have travelled extensively in New Zealand and overseas and are well qualified to advise guests about local restaurants and attractions.
